Name: Azazel
Nickname(s): AZ, Zel
Age: Adult
Gender: Male
Pack: Valkyr
Rank: Warrior (Or wherever the leader sees fit)
Appearance: A masculine figure that much is certain, but he is leanly so. His body is tall and firm, without being so overly muscular. He's not exactly built for speed but he could give a good chase if he was ever so inclined. His fur is cream at the base, but he has layers of fine red hair. He's not without his own scars and in fact he has a mean single slash over his right eye.
Personality:
The Bark
The wise-guy on the corner, the fountain of knowledge, the dude you know is telling the truth but you wish he would shut the hell up anyway. That's Azazel. He's bitterly sarcastic, unmatched in his dry humor, and well known for his trade-mark smirk. He's very outspoken, and it's bound to get him in trouble, but deep down he knows wolves. He knows how to push their buttons and he knows how to toy with them too. This is a dangerous talent, and he's not afraid to use it against his enemies. He also uses it to aid his friends as twisted as it may seem. He's about as gentle giving advise as a porcupine giving a hug.
There's always a bit of question about where his loyalties lie. He is seemingly loyal to his Alphas, but he's rather quit to comment on their decisions. He seems to be most loyal to his siblings, but he mocks even them. If he doesn't take the wolves closest to him seriously, can he be trusted?
The Bite
He's well-trained battle wise, though he lacks the discipline necessary for group strategy. He's also not much for planning attacks, impulsive and all. But he has the moves, and he's much more mobile than his sibling Wrath.
His small-game hunting is superb. His fishing is pretty decent too. The problem is that he's hopelessly lazy and needs a lot of prodding just to get up from a midday nap.
History:
(same basic history, a few changed words to fit Azazel's perspective)
Born in the Valkyr Pack, Azazel, Wrath and Luna were a single litter. His father was a Captain and well respected. His mother was a great huntress and headstrong. At first they seemed like a well-matched pair, but it soon became evident to Mother that their Father meant for her to be just that, a mother, no longer able to hunt and roam the territory at will. When Mother refused, she received her first "punishment" from him. It resulted in a torn ear.
Although she was deeply hurt, Mother went on raising her pups. Of the three pups, Azazel was the smaller male and was dubbed a runt, though in truth he was average. His father ignored him a lot, so he developed a habit that could not be ignored. He became a smart mouth and this resulted in some scars, but only when his father managed to catch him. Because he saw himself as less than his brother, he had no real aspirations to be a higher rank than Omega, but with the help of his brother he worked himself up.
By the time he was moving beyond his pup-rank, his mother had had enough. She walked out on them, or rather snuck-out. She told her pups, nearing their adulthood, that she worried that their father might kill her if he knew. Azazel did not doubt this. He was somber for a while after she left, and he sometimes wonders where she is.
The death of his father was quite an event, nearly worthy of celebration on the part of himself and his siblings. He died battling a bear, which was competing for prey in the Pack. While the pack mourned, he and his siblings left to laugh and mock the cruel captain who was cut down in his prime by a creature he considered their lesser. Azazel made the cruelest of jokes about him, ones that even made Wrath laugh.
Roleplay Example:
Perfection. The Sun streaming through the trees and hitting his face at slant. The smell of prey fleeing the claws and jaws of the Valkyr Pack. The decayed log beneath him smelled of warm rotting wood, and it was so soft beneath his tired paws. He liked the occasional creak it made, the splinters he would sometimes get, even scratching off the bugs in his fur when he moved. He was in heaven really, floating on a fallen tree...
"Zel! Az!"
"Not right now," Azazel mumbled, golden eyes shut.
"Azazel!" his sister demanded, placing both paws on his side and pushing hard.
He didn't budge but opened his eyes. It was cold. The warm sunny forest was frosty white. He got up. The wood was warm, but only because he had been laying there for a while. He looked at his sister, she was below him and looked rather cold and thin. He gazed beyond her, surprised to see hisbrother in the dark ground. Wrath was scowling, big surprise.
"Guess I slept threw the sunny season, aye?" he said with a smirk.
Luna gave him a warm expression, but rolled her eyes and walked away. Azazel jumped down and as they passed Wrath, he walked alongside him.
