Name: Pasha
Nickname(s):Pashenka, little Pasha, any mixture of the names
Age: 2 years
Gender: male
Pack: Looking to join the Fjordsong
Rank: Beta for the moment, but does have some qualities that could make him a decent Alpha
Appearance: Pasha is a big, dark Eurasian wolf. Even by Eurasian's standards he is big, standing at about 33 inches and weighs in at a whopping 143 pounds. He is not fat by any means and carries his bulk well. He is neither exceptionally agile or strong, though his bulk does give him a slight advantage when push comes to shove.
His dark coat is thick and very warm. His ancestors hail from the Siberian Tundra, and though his family has not lived on that God forsaken land in generations his wooly coat serves as a reminder. He certainly does not mind. His coloration is a bit unique. The base is black, or nearly black, but it is difficult to see that upon first sight to due the heavy scattering of rust colored fur. White points further distract from the dark base coat.
Pasha had a rather awkward puppy stage, he was more legs than any of his siblings. At the time it wasn't know that it was because he would grow to brutish size and he suffered for it. While he did grow into his legs he never managed to grow into his paws. While they are not awkward anymore they still are on the large size. His ears also have followed suite. They are still small enough to conserve heat but compare to the rest of of his siblings they are larger.

Personality: Despite what his appearance might suggest Pasha is a gentle soul. He will do nearly anything to avoid a fight. He would much rather talk things through and give in simple things that physically solve his problems.
Pasha lacks charisma, he would have a hard time mustering troops or any such things. He is genuine, humble, a little naïve, and a touch too idealistic. His name fits his quite, intellectual nature more than his physical appearance ever will. While he may not sound like he would ever be able to be a leader he has an air about him that makes others listen to when he has something to say.
While he is not prone to acting like a pup when he is around young ones he is more than willing to partake in their games. This stems from his childhood, though he would never admit it. Given the right situations he has been known to partake in silly games by himself.
Pasha keeps to himself. He does not distrust others exactly, he is simply not quick to warm up to others. He is rarely rude, even to those he does not like. Except in the most extreme of cases he at least fakes being friendly and warm to all. He finds if very difficult to say no to any small request from nearly anyone. To those he warms up to and enjoys being around he is a loyal friend. He does not like to see others sad and does his best to cheer up his friends.
History: Pasha hails from a small tribe to the east. He was born just as the weather turned from warm to hot to the alpha pair of the pack along with a brother, Yuri, and two sisters, Tonya and Lena. The pups grew up happy and well cared for. They got along well despite their differences. At nine moths of age tragedy struck the pack. The alpha, Lev, was killed. The pups never did learn how.
A month passed before their dear leader was replaced. It would have been better for the tiny pack if it had not happened. If they could have come out with little harm done to them perhaps there would have been a fight, but that was not the case. A cruel loner placed himself at the head of the pack of five females and four pups. His name was Vladimir and he wanted no competition. Pasha's mother knew this and being a good mother she made the decision to exile her two young boys. They would face horrible conditions on their own but, in her mind, it was better than the certain death they faced here.
It was a sad cold night when Ania woke her children. She growled at them to keep silent, and softly explained what she was doing and her reasons. She told Pasha and Yuri to bid their sisters good bye and Tonya and Lena to do the same to their brothers before he nuzzled them and let them free into the world.
The brothers stayed together for another two months. They kept each other sane, warm, and made sure there was food for both of them. However the winters were fierce and it was almost inevitable that Pasha lost his brother one night when the winds whipped the frozen snow about the frozen landscape. He didn't know what else to do but to keep walking and searching for a pack to take him in.
Roleplay Example: Pasha looked up at his mother with dreary eyes. It was dark and cold. “What is it mama?” He asked quietly. “You boys must get up. It's not safe here, you must leave,” she said in a hushed voice after she nuzzled his sisters awake. Pasha opened his mouth to inquire further but she shook her head. “It's Vladimir my Pashenka, he does not like you boys. I know you do not fully understand the ways of the world but you must trust your mama. You must leave, you and your brother.” Ania gave Yuri a tougher nuzzle to make him rise to his feet, “Say goodbye to your sisters. They shall miss you.”
Pasha was still not certain of what was going on but he did as he was told. He nuzzled and kicked both Tonya and Lena. He whispered little affectionate things to them. He would miss them so much and he told them. He did not want to leave but his mama said he must and she knew best. After he was finished he followed his mother out into the blistering cold. He approached Yuri them him. “I wish you boys could stay with me, it pains me that you can never take your fathers position as the leader but I would rather send you away then see you killed. Take care of Yuri and he shall take care of you. Together you boys shall be able to make it. I do not want you to ever come back. Do not fear for your sisters or I. We shall be safe. The only things I ask of you is to keep each other alive, find a new home, remember Tonya and Lena, and don't forget that your mama loved you dearly.” She affectionately nuzzled Pasha, he reciprocated with kisses and nuzzles. It lasted only a few moments before she turned to leave. Pasha tried to follow but was greeted with a dangerous growl. He stopped dead and instead whimpered softly, “Please mama, I don't want to go. I want to stay with you.” The wind was whipping about with violence, making noise and sending snow flying, Pasha didn't know if his mother heard him until she stopped and looked back one last time. Her face was filled with sadness. “We should leave,” Yuri said to him, “If Vladimir finds that we are gone he will kill us just like mother said. Best to put some distance between us and him.” Pasha gave a nod and padded after his brother into the blinding snow not wanting to lose him.
