Name: Appios
Nickname(s): Nothing, really.
Age: Four
Gender: Male
Pack: Raekerin
Rank: Wolverine/soldier
Appearance:
Tail- Appios' tail is the kind to be very fluffy, to say the least. It's average in length according to length of the body, weight, and height. His tail is a pure-white with flecks of black scattered on top of it. It's used (as you know) to display everything from happiness to hatred.
Physical- The male is very big, and nearly all his weight is in muscle. However, this means two things: He can't run as fast, and he can't use stealth as much as other wolves.
Back- Flecking his back are the occasional black splotches, and, occasionally, the fur going along his spine will bristle with agitation.
Back paws- Appios' back paws are used for jumping, and tearing himself into a sprint-- therefore, naturally, the legs are thick with the muscle of a wolf. His front paws are powerful too, but are less so then the back ones.
Front paws- His back paws may be used for running, but his front ones are used for striking, and, therefore, just as important. A strike from one of these is more powerful then getting whacked at by one of the assassin types. Then again, Wolverine types are made for brute strength, aren't they?
Height- Thirty-two inches at he shoulders.
Weight- One-hundred seventy-five pounds, and much of it being muscle.
Ears- Appios' ears show his displeasure, anger, rare happiness, and sadness. They are, besides the tail, the things that hear, but also show a lot more emotion then just the typical fur.
Mouth- Snapping at other wolves, eating, and being barred to show anger, his teeth may be the most important thing on his entire body. They're filled with pretty big teeth, and are something you wouldn't want closed on you.
Eyes- Pitch black. Nothing there but blackness, and, frequently, the male gets avoided by a few others due to how they seemingly pierce into your very soul. They rarely show fear and happiness. They rarely show anything, and, if not for the tail, fur, and ears, wolves would think he was emotionless.
Claws- Yellow, and can be used to scratch up dirt or slash at other wolves/prey.
Fur- Appios' coat is pure-white, with splotches of very light cream around his neck, splotches of black on his back and tail, and so on.

Personality:
Blunt- The male will say what he means, and quite clearly. To anyone but higher-ups, he'll tell you if you look ugly, weird, or, if you're parading yourself around, he'll pop your ego into little tiny pieces. If a plan is horrible, he'll tell you so, and, likewise, if it's well-thought-out, he'll say so. It's not rude; maybe callous, but not rude. If he didn't, then he would be wasting words, wouldn't he?
Loyal- Once he was born into the pack, he hasn't shown a single bit of interest in any up rises (if any), other packs, or becoming a loner. He's as loyal as what humans used to be to best friends. Although he doesn't have very much kindness in him, he has obedience, and that's what matters in the end, correct?
Obedient- Anything is done without question, and with a full, one-hundred-ten percent effort. There is no such thing as 'trying', only 'doing'. No guess-work; only making choices. And if that leader gets replaced by another? So be it. As long as they're still in leadership, he'll continue to serve with his utmost ability.
Uncaring- Appios' is a bit callous-- uncaring, they say. Kindness is foreign to him unless ordered. It is this that he lacks, and it is why not many wolves can stand/put up with him. If he were to show just a little bit of kindness, then maybe this would change, but, unfortunately, he doesn't. Kindness is just a crutch, you see...
Careful- The male is as careful as a surgeon when it comes to making decisions. The ones that he is allowed to make, he does so with the utmost care and precision, and, although he doesn't give much of a thought for other wolf's feelings, he does care about what he chooses.
Friendly-
History:
The male has a simple history. Not one of abusive parents, dying mothers, or all his pack dying off due to some strange disease of which he was the only survivor. He had strict parents, but when has that been new? His ability to choose between good and wrong, and it was this that he feels respect toward his still-living parents. He has a sister, but this is the only thing that isn't clear as crystal, and Appios has had no time nor the want to search for her. Simply put, they stayed put in one den for his growing up years, and then he moved up to his soldier status he is in now. No high-held expectations from his parents. They loved him in the only way they could, and he now loves them back in his own ways. It is this simple, strict-but-fair raising that provided him with the knowledge he needed. Simple, not boring. Not unfair. Not unjust. Simply simple.
Roleplay Example:
It's a slow feeling when you realize that simply do not care about the rest of the world. You care in a way --by obeying, loyalty, and respect-- but not love. Never love. Love is the only thing that ever displays your heart for the whole world. It's a powerful thing, love is. Love offers your bones up for the picking. But it's not selfish-- it isn't helpless, but it isn't greedy, either. In a way, the male wished he did have someone to love. He wished that he could find someone that didn't have such annoying...faults, was it? But then he would be hypocritical in that way. He himself had faults that many wolves knew about. Many wolves that choose to keep quiet were friendly enough. Wasn't respect and loyalty all he needed? But no. Not really. It's an animal's instinct to want to be loved, and Appios felt the want. Almost a need, and, yet, not quite. The feeling that he would love to be loved. Not quite a whining-about urge, but enough for him to accept it if he loosened his cynical grip on the world.
A hopeless and not-needed want. Why did a wolf need anything more then loyalty and respect? If he needed more, then he was a needy wolf, correct? Needy wolves were a hindrance. It was why he pushed away prospective friends with blunt words-- harsh words. It made him have a cynical view of the entire world and its inhabitants. Why else did a wolf live, if not to obey his leaders? Why else would he be allowed to live in a pack, if not to be helping one another? But that was the problem. When did helping begin? Did it begin at the bare minimum? Or did it join in when it was only absolutely needed?
Why so many questions? They plagued him. But he wasn't supposed to question the order of things. He was only supposed to obey without question or complaint. That was what he was here for...correct?
Shaking his big head, the brute walked over the land at a soldier-like gate. Soldier-like posture. Soldier-like words. 'Am I a pawn? Or am I much more? If I am more, then what is it?' Were these strange questions? He had them frequently, but, like now, he pushed them away with a simple thing: that he was here to obey, give his all and more, and that as a whole, the pack could take down everything. Broken down, they were nothing. These things kept him from searching out what these questions meant more then just being questions.
They were stupid.
They were meaningless.
They held nothing for him.
In agreement to those thoughts, Appios sat his rump down in a clear area. The questions came at uncertain times, and, for now, he was sure that he had them under control.
His black eyes looked slowly around-- seeing the seemingly-dead grass. The flowers that would possibly bloom in the spring were long-gone, and replacing them was snow. Little tips of grass poked their heads out from the covering of it, and the trees had a blanket of snow covering their bare, brown branches. The sky was gray-ish-blue, and held no interest from him. Neither did the surroundings. What mattered was in the surroundings, and, taking a moment of being perfectly still, he watched as a little squirrel jerked itself into view-- its movements hyper at best. A hare poked its black nose out (having its white attire as well), but quickly ran off once it saw the brute. He could see little winter insects. Little animals. Very simple.
Your name: Appios. You can call me that, App, or Appipie, ^_^
How did you find us?: I saw an add on Demise.
Other characters: None. And good gosh, I did horrible on this compared to others. Forgive my lack of depth on everything. .__. I suck at bios, and, therefore, it shows. I'm better at roleplaying itself...
