ooc;Tiburon I am sorry, sometimes you never know how long someone is going to take and since Peri posted and I had my post done I figured why not. ....i don't want your remedyChocolate nostrils flared, a sea of scents drifting within, telling her what she needed to know. Wolves were about, quite a few heading to an Alpha's call not to long ago. The young lupine had not been here long, but long enough to know these lands had not belonged to someone for a time. The blond female had anticipated this, and she didn't know if anxiety pulsed because of anticipation for it or if it was some how another bite of bitterness she couldn't derive of. Golden lids locked over turquoise pools, a deep rush of air plunging deep to lungs. No doubts filled her, but a mixed calm. Opening eyes strong limbs ambled foreward. Mind made up, she'd meet this Alpha and see if it would be her heaven or hell. Little familiarity of these lands senses started mapping out the right direction. It would just be getting there sooner then later. Brown lips split, light pink tounge tangling between jaws. Another deep breath filled her chest. Steps became light, and the blond wolf began to fly o'er the white terrain. Haste was necassary, first impressions weren't her pride and joy, and she was already late.
Sharp reflexes, and keen sight she managed to maneveur along the fjord toreward the Alpha's long faded note. A sudden fresh scent grabbed her attention along the river bank. Vivid turquoise eyes, glanced from trail beneath to the trail ahead. The group was still a few yards away. They would most likely be able to pick the cream of her pelt coming against the white landscape. Gearing down she slowed to an easy jog, trying to steady the rough pant she'd collected from the rushed run. Closer, the number of females and males was caculated in her brain, the different rush of scents imprinted on memory. Light murmurs of a female carried to triangle points. So she was not the only one just arriving. The fact almost could have made her day, but she had yet to see if this pack would be worth the endeavor. No idiot, she would mind her manners, trouble was not on today's agenda, and she could be respectful. Blond tiara cast downward, tips of ears drawn sideways against it's top, and tassel tucked beneath the haunches. She walked on the outer skirtings of her possible pack stopping short so the white femora could finish her greetings, uninterupted. Vivid pools of green blue hues drew in the circle of faces, when she noticed the Alpha male she bowed her head to him. Little assumptions could not be made about any of the wolves, they would all be clean slates in her eyes as she hoped to be in theirs. One reason to stay, there seemed not one to go. Suddenly the white female done, Taima nodded a quiet hello to her, knowing she probably felt as akward as she did. Not eager to pop her space bubble nor anyone else's she took one stride foreward, gaze upon the Alpha. Mind, and heart running a mile a minute.
"Forgive me sir, and FjordSong for my late arrival, and interuption" Soft tones escaped from lips, filled with real sincerity as tiara cast torward the earth,"it won't happen again." Glancing up serious edge carried in those words, she had no intention of ever be late again. "My calling is Taima, I look foreward to knowing all yours." A quick stare cast to each face, not firiendly nor cold just a quiet look. Sitting upon her haunches she awaited patiently what would come next. If they would have her she would stay. [/size]

Pasha gave a small wag of his tail as a few other joined the pack meeting. A green eyed male lazily. The fellow seemed respectable enough. It was too early to judge much about him though. Another had also joined the pack, she was a small female, much like the one the alpha had spoken to moments ago. She seemed to be much kinder than her counterpart. He could feel her eyes on him and he turned to meet her gaze. He gave her a silly wolfish grin and a wag of his tail. She turned away after giving him a small smile.
Pasha did his very best to look strong and confident as his alpha looked over him with his cold blue eyes. He wasn't entirely sure how he should carry himself but he did is best to convey all the emotions he thought he should. He kept his ears flat and pointed off to the side to show he was submissive to the other male. He did his head to both hold his head high and keep it low enough to not seem cocky. He hoped that he did not look as ridiculous as he felt. It did not take long for Capella to look him over before scanning the next wolf. It also did not take the white male long to grant all the wolves the ranked they wished. Pasha wanted to jump for joy, but instead he kept himself in line. He settled for perking up his ears, jumping to his feet, arching his big fluffy tail and wagging it with excitement. Then he felt silly, he was Beta. He should behave like the mature adult he was. Sheepishly he looked about then sat back down hoping no one saw his little silly dance.
The alpha was now speaking to a new wolf, a green eyed male called Evion. While Capella inquired about the rank the other wished to hold Pasha quickly ran over all the other names in his mind. He knew Olive and Nephele and now he could name Evion and the little females Zelunik and Tiburon. After he finished speaking with Evion, Capella spoke of the rules of the pack. They where simple rules, no bullying and do your share of the work. He didn't even need to be told these, though it would be odd being able to share a work load.
It didn't take long for more wolves to join the meeting. Pasha had no idea that so many had been near by, it made him happy to know that he would be part of such a big family. The first to join was a white she-wolf. She sauntered in with a self-assured attitude, or at least that was the way it seemed to Pasha. She gave her name, Pericle, and her nickname and a greeting. The greyish brute gave her a smile in reply. “Hello,” he replied back to her wagging his tail. The second to arrive was another female. She was a bonde color. Apologizes spilled out of her mouth, and Pasha felt a bit of pity towards her. Hopefully it was just nerves that made her feel so jittery and apologetic. Amongst her apologies she said her name was Taima. Pasha locked it was in his mind as he gave her a small smile.
((OOC: Sorry about my slowness and not so great reply. I've got a paper I'm working on. It turns out it was more work than I was expecting. Ended up having to look up info for 50 countries @_@ ))

OoC: It's been two days. I'm posting. >_> <3 I'm tired of waiting. IC: Evion perked his ears to listen as the Alpha spoke to him. His green eyes moved over the ivory form, giving a simple judgement on first appearance. It mattered little to him what the brute looked like, but rather how he was going to handle being an Alpha. He seemed at home with the rank, confident that he would hold the respect of the pack he chose to be Alpha of. That in itself led Evion to respect the fellow. Most new Alpha's(that he knew of) were always nervous, jittering around and even being hostile from their panicking nerves. He was asked a rank and Evion saw fit to answer; but first he listened to the rules.
"Delta," He answered once Capella was finished laying out the laws. He would have no problem with them as he was not a bully anyway. He was just a wolf who preferred to nap over fighting. As it was, it seemed the Beta position was already spoken for and, again, Evion felt no need to challenge the spot. It was just to much work at the moment. His gray audits flipped back as he heard a females voice pipe up close to him. His emerald gaze languidly slid over and he studied, yet another, white wolf. Only this one was female...and a more blond in color than white as he had previously figured. He dipped his head in greeting to the she-wolf, before turning his jade eyes back to Capella.
It was stunning to see so many wolves gathered. He hadn't realized how large this pack had grown since he wandered onto the unclaimed lands. They all filed in one by one to visit their new Alpha and all seemed perfectly okay that the white brujo took up the position. Evion wouldn't have minded the position, but that was just a lot of work for a wolf who loved his naps. He shook his thoughts carelessly and gazed at one wolf then to the next. A lot more males than females it seemed. Damned his luck. This pack was going to be full of bulls butting heads over the attention of the few females. Alas, while they were butting heads Evion, himself, would be off wooing the ladies. A soft laugh caught his muzzle before physically shaking his head. How many painful bites would he get from that single thought? Ah, the joys of life.
His tongue slipped out and slid along his onyx chin before he decided to itch at his shoulder where an annoying burning was being felt. He was hoping no one else was going to try for the male Delta position. He didn't want to have to defend the rank so soon, but if he had to perhaps he would just take up a spot in the Soldier ranks. Or not, Evion wanted Delta more than a simple soldier the more the thought about it. He would definitely defend his spot as Delta even if that meant having to rough up another male. Evion was always up for a chance at parading around for the ladies.

ooc: so are we just posting without Zel? (she seems to be MIA)
Olive smiled as Cappella announced that they would be receiving the ranks they desired. She wagged her tail slightly. She would be sure not to let the new alpha or her new family down. She hoped she would get to know them all a bit better but that would come in time. When the alpha asked the quiet she-wolf what her name was she wasn’t overly surprised at what happened next. She watched as the other wolfess mouthed her name. She watched carefully “Tiburon?” she said out loud, to make sure she had understood what the other female was trying to say. “That’s a nice name” she said with another wag of her tail. She always did her best to be friendly, especially towards those who seemed like they could use a friend.
Next a white female appeared and introduced herself as Pericle, she was going to do her best to remember the names of her pack mates but she knew she would forget at least a few of them. Only a second later another female arrived and apologized for her lateness. Then Evion asked for the rank of Delta. There was a lot going on, Olive stood and made her way to the back of the little crowed that had gathered and sat down. She wanted to stay and get an idea of who would be taking on what role and to get an idea of what her new pack was like but sense she had no more business of her own to worry about she was content to stay in the background and watch as the pack interacted with each other. There were quite a few males in the pack, she wasn’t one to obsess over the opposite sex but she couldn’t help but wonder if she would find a mate here. She toyed with the idea in the back of her mind as the watched the others.

The howl had a pair of ears flicking and cupping forward to catch it curiously. One eye opened a smidge. She was unwilling as of yet to release the thick syrup of sleep. She so enjoyed that feeling when sleep bordered on waking and she couldn't remember much besides she was alive and well. The howl was commanding but she was tempted to ignore it on principle - and she'd been having such a nice sleep. Another thought trickled in. She wasn't even part of the pack, so it didn't much matter to her how commanding the voice was. She slid her eye closed again, fighting to hold on to her dreams but it was too late; she was awake now. Her mind began turning and she remembered yesterday and why she was sleeping her and other bits and pieces one just has hoarding in the mind. She groaned, stretching languidly in the safety of the deep brush she'd taken shelter from during the night. She blinked opened both eyes, gazing around her. She grinned at the whitish 'ceiling' that peeked out from between bare branches above her. How much snow had fallen while she slept? Only one way to find out. Before Rein could talk herself out of it, she rose to her paws. The rush of blood to her limbs was familiar and she barely noted it. A yawn stretched her long muzzle and the whine that accompanied it seemed dampened by the small space. With a shake of her pelt she crouched down and began the excursion into the outside world.
The snow was only a few inches on the brush and she had no problem shoving herself through the small gap in branches. She'd had more trouble with it last night. Her paws crunched snow as she straightened and blinked at the white world. Winter was so beautiful. The crisp air burned her lungs, the cold tickling her skin and making her eyes water. All these feelings were sharp and clear and that was something Rein liked. The feeling, the thrill. She shivered from it and hopped forward wondering if she could scrounge up a meal. There had to be rabbits around here. She only just raised her nose to take a deep whiff to judge prey when her brain reminded her about the howl. Awake now, curiosity clung. More wolves meant more company. And Rein liked having people to talk to. She had no idea what these wolves were like, and the unknown tempted her. So much so she gave into it and bounded off in that direction. Her lope was smooth and steady, making little noise in the brush. She could smell the scent markers of the pack after a few minutes of the swift pace. She had no hesitation as she crossed that border to follow the calling howl. Her nostrils flared as she scented the wind. She noted many wolf smells, some wild and musky like loners. A few others had the pack-smell. Her ears arched forward and her tail swung once as she slowed and came upon them. A lake stretched around her, and she noted that this was the water smell she'd also caught.
She blinked at the gathering, giving a friendly wave of her tail and she sauntered in, green eyes gleaming with curiosity. There was a handsome brute who was the center of attention - the alpha no doubt. A stocky wolf with white fur. Her slim body made it's way over the snow confidently to stand about in the other wolves. She gave the alpha a smile as he finished speaking. She'd only caught the last bit, but she was sure the rules were unimportant. The normal crap most likely. At least she knew she wasn't lazy. Not that she necessarily wanted to join right this minute. Curiosity had led her here, it was those around her that would make her wish to stay. Unlike many wolves, Reinette didn't care to change her plans. She was fine either way it happened - both options led to an adventure of some sort. This just happened to be the most interesting thing of the day. She scanned the other wolves, noting two other white ones and a small, pretty tan and black she wolf closest to her. This one spoke her name quickly. Tiburon. Interesting sound. She also seemed to have a stick jammed up her bum. Rein flicked her gaze away after a moment of study, settling on the next speaker. One of the whites. Uninterested in her words, she continued her visual expedition. A black male, and two greys. Male and female. Happy with her exploration, she stepped forward, swishing her tail. Her slick coat gleamed in the snowy light. "Since it seems introduction is the name of the game, I'm Reinette. New in the area, " she said. Her lips quirked again at her audience.

OOC: Hey Kenren I've got a new character who is going to be joining. Mind if I jump in and post with her and Pasha. It might make your life a little easier. If you want to keep some sort of order I'll wait though.

The faint call of a male rung in the she-wolf's ears. It was distant but it was a call welcoming all, it was certainly worth going to investigate. She quickened her pace to a fast trot and made her way towards the call. She longed for the company of others. How long had it been since she had shared a meal or spoke of the next day's weather or pups tall tales to keep them from causing trouble? In her mind she knew it had been a long six months, though in her heart it felt like it had been many miserable years. The copper coated female had underestimated just how far off the call was. She quickened her trot to a lope after a fair distance. She was not certain of the distance between her and the pack but she was beginning to smell others, not many, just a few loners here and there. As she drew closer to where the call had originated from more and more wolves' scents filled her nose. Before she could see the others her ears picked up the sounds of their conversations. It was hard to make out just what was being said. She quickened her pace once again into a slow gallop. She was determined to not miss much of what was being said. She had no fear of show up uninvited. Alita had an air to her that made it hard for others to argue with her, she carried herself in such away that it was clear she was harmless but that she certainly meant business. By the time she reached the others the meeting was well underway, possibly even winding down. There was a decent amount of wolves already present. It didn't matter much to Alita how many where there though and she did not bother to count. She simply strolled up next to one of others and took a seat. She would wait until she was spoken to before she said a word. * * * Pasha watched as even more wolves came to join the pack. This pack was far bigger than he thought it would have been. This was a little intimidating, but Pasha looked forward to the challenge of being a leader. He practiced going over the names of others in his mind.
