Appearance: Rhody's coat is completely ebony from head to toes, which is to his benefit in any season but winter. Against this coat his eyes look almost golden although they are really just a very bright hazel. Most astonishing about his appearance is his small size. He's lanky rather than brutish unlike most males his age, although if anyone dared bully him about it they'd find themselves quickly out dodged.

Personality:
fun-loving: Rhody can make any situation fun. He makes an excellent pup-sitter because his energy equals, if not surpasses those of puppies. He's always up for a game or a friendly spar, so long as he enjoys doing it. On that note, however, it is very hard to get Rhody to do something if he doesn't think he'll enjoy doing it.

laid-back: For the most part, Rhody takes it easy and isn't serious about much of anything. It's next to impossible to get Rhody to respond to any austere manner, much less return the sentiment.

guarded: Part of Rhody's absolute refusal to be serious comes from a hurt past. He puts up walls to seem care-free and much of him is indeed care-free, although he's afraid of anything important or sincere because it's these matters that can make you vulnerable.

friendly: Rhody has no shortage of friendliness and his indifferent attitude would make it difficult for someone to get on his bad side, even if his bad side is very rarely anger but more annoyance.

History: Rhody was orphaned early on in his life, with his father being crushed by a moose and his mother and most of his siblings dying of starvation or disease. Soon it was only he and his sister who were left. The village that raised this child was his pack, although they did so more out of obligation that actual affection and the raising was more tolerance than care-taking. Rhody learned to fight by battling for his right to survive and developed a distanced air.

Eventually the pack saw him as a mooch. He was unwilling to do anything for the pack that saw his existence as a burden and was chased out once he was a youth and able to survive on his own. He wandered alone for many years, content to rely on himself alone. However the shortage of food he managed to acquire for himself stunted his growth and made him vulnerable to larger, stronger males.

So Rhody decided it would be in his best interest to find a pack to join. He'd do what he'd have to, nothing more nothing less.
