RULES

MAIN RULES

I. Be respectful to other members. Disputes are to be discussed over PMs only. If you feel a dispute is getting out of hand, let an administrator know.
II. Be mature. Please don't take in-character fights personally.
III. Don't spam the board! We like it to be sparkly and clean.
IV. You must follow the Proboards ToS. (No obscenity, 13+, English only)
V. One account per character. You can keep a character log if it helps you stay organized.

ROLEPLAYING

I. The minimum post length is 250 words. It's alright to miss this mark occasionally, but if it's happening often, that might indicate the site is too advanced for you.
II. No powerplaying, god-modding, or Mary-Sues.
III. Alphas reserve the right to make pack decisions such as acceptances, exiles, and rank changes. When you join a pack, that means you agree to abide by the alpha's decisions, or have your character face the consequences.
IV. No chatspeak in character.
VI. In group threads, stick to a posting order.
VII. Keep hunts and kills realistic.
VIII. Liquid-time is allowed. You can have your character in as many threads as you can keep up with.
IX. Each player is allowed only one loner to begin with. Additional loner characters can be purchased in the Icicle Exchange.
X. Characters must be at least a year of age, or be born on-site to two existing characters. Loner pups may not join, and females cannot join while already pregnant.
XI. Posts should be kept to a PG-13 level, in accordance with proboards TOS.

No powerplaying, god-modding, or Mary-Sues.

• See information on powerplaying and god-modding. A Mary-Sue is any character that is considered to be 'perfect' and without fault, or is very cliché and overdone.
  No chatspeak in character.
  
• This means no usage of 'brb,' 'lol,' 'ur,' etc when roleplaying.
  Keep hunts and kills realistic.
  
• One wolf has the ability to kill small animals, such as rabbits, birds, and young deer. However, larger prey requires at least three wolves to fell.

FIGHTING

I. Fights are allowed at any time for any (in character) reason. If the fight is between loners or members of different packs, please direct it to the Battle Wash board.
II. Official fights must be judged by an administrator, and the administrator must be notified before the fight begins.
III. The winner of a fight (if the fight was over a rank) receives two weeks rest before they can be challenged again.
IV. If the thread is going to be graphic, please put a warning in the thread title.

Official fights (such as for rank) must be judged by an administrator, and the administrator must be notified before the fight begins.

• If an administrator is not notified of a fight before it begins, the fight will be nullified, and two weeks must pass before the same two characters may fight again. An administrator will issue specific fighting rules before a fight begins.
  
• Fights are judged with a point rubric, with points awarded for attacks, defenses, spelling & grammar, writing fluency, and overall talent.

BREEDING

I. A pregnant character must remain pregnant for no less than three weeks and no more than nine weeks.
II. Breeding must take place between a male and a female. (See below for information on homosexual characters.)
III. Forcebreeding is allowed, but permission must be granted by the victim's roleplayer beforehand.
IV. Joining with an orphaned puppy is not permitted. All characters not born on the site must be at least one year old.
V. Breeding may only occur when it is permitted as per the Weather sidebox.
VI. You cannot play your own mate.

Breeding must take place between a male and a female.

• Homosexual characters are permitted on Frostbite. If a pairing of homosexual characters wishes to have children, they must notify an administrator, who will issue an NPC (non-player character) to be a surrogate.

CBOX RULES

I. Please don't flood; the c-box can't swim!
II. Don't impersonate other people, either from Frostbite or another site. Impersonation will be met with bans.
III. Namelinks to other sites are allowed; blatant advertising is not.
IV. Don't be a drama queen (or king)!
V. We <3 guests, so be nice to them!
VI. Don't fight in the c-box - that's kind of a downer.
VII. We reserve the right to add epic or humurous quotes to the top of the c-box for all to see!
